What We Do  

Brass Quintessence was founded in 1980. This Orange County, New York brass quintet has performed extensively in the Tri-State area. The group is praised for performing a richly varied repertoire consisting of over five hundred selections. These selections include numerous genres, from Gregorian chant to pop and jazz. Brass Quintessence has premiered new compositions and transcriptions written especially for the group. The quintet creates an approach to music that cannot be musically notated. They must be seen and heard to be appreciated.
